Guys .. I'm going to ask we leave the FB situation off this discussion board. With that said, I'm going to prune a few messages and will hopefully not have to revisit this. I would have stepped in much sooner but have been incommunicado the last few days and access has been spotty.

Strev is a warrior who was pigeon holed by his OC here and hamstrung by politics down south. Wherever he ends up, I hope he gets a chance to prove he can lead a team. I’d like him to be here but know both money and opportunity talk.

I just hope we come out ready to play .. a series of two and outs right out of the gate is going to take our crowd out of it quick (especially after the last few home games). If we do get up on the Lions early, let's bury them. Punch them in the mouth and then keep swinging. To hell with this nonsense of not running up the score and playing conservatively with the lead - we don't have the horses for it. I want to see guys winning one on one battles. I want to see our offensively line play with a little nastiness and pride. I want our playmakers (on offense and defense) making plays. I want to see clean play and execution right from the opening snap. I want to see the mentally weak Evans collapse under pressure.

PFF grades have always been a farce. They don't know the play or the assignment .. they only dole out grades based on what they *think* the play is or what they *think* the outcome should have been. Yet I'm sure both the CFL, media and fans are going to put far more stock into these things than what they merit.

We aren't dominant though and Zach getting hit more (sacks) is part of the problem. Yes .. it's not all on the offensive line, Zach's holding the ball and part of that is scheme and inability for our guys to separate. So until we show a glimmer of that dominance or any ability to consistently make plays, extend drives and put teams away then I have no faith that we are anything other than a pretender. 5-2 .. happy with the record .. but you're turning a blind eye to how poorly we've executed overall and how we've let teams hang around who should have no business being on the same field with us.

I'll say this .. I'm not disagreeing that this is a much better lineup than when we first played BC. However, this year's team has given me no reason to believe that each week won't be a struggle. We haven't played a full 60 minutes yet. Outside the Calgary game, where we ran the ball down their throat in the 4th, we haven't had much of a physical presence. We are routinely struggling to protect our quarterback (schematically or otherwise). This team .. this year .. they have to make me a believer because frankly, they've **** the bed too much already.

He wasn't fielding them either. Let more than one hit the turf.

Anyone else a little surprised by the season Betts is having? Not hating but he's blowing his best statistical season out of the water and we are only a third of the way through.

Seeings QBs step up and perform is good for the CFL. We need a changing of the guard .. we need legit starting quarterbacks to lead teams and show fans, viewers and any who are curious that this is an exciting league worth watching. This has been a fun game to watch.

Did Robertson just kick at the ball / VA on that sack? Regardless, it’s NOT good seeing another QB (potentially hurt).
