I definitely understand the debate about Zach and his play, and whether or not he’s lost ‘it’…. I’m sure we’ve all had those discussions, but what really burns me is the bolded part above. Our Oline grades out as the worst, and we haven’t made one single change. I know these rating systems are subjective at best, but we’ve all seen how poor the line has been. They absolutely fail the eye test, as well as any grading metric you want to use. Why hasn’t the team tried a different combination or two? Do they think it’s going well? It’s 7 weeks in…. We can’t still be waiting for these guys to gel. Make a move and replace the subpar players…. We all know who needs to go. Sack up and do it.

Just can’t understand a veteran QB making that decision.

As voodoochylde mentioned, we should be able to create some pressure with our Dline against their Oline…. What I want to see is some spying of Patterson, so he’s not escaping and doing damage with his legs. Really hope we have a plan in place.

If those were questions they had, and I’m sure they were, they should have worked him out before signing him. If they did that, I’m back to my original question…. I don’t see our playbook being that hard to grasp, so what’s the deal?

Too bad about MCI. He had been playing well the last couple weeks. Nice to see Garbutt in the lineup, as well as Jones…. If he actually gets some D reps. Not sure why Whitehead isn’t out there this week. Still don’t like zero changes to the Oline, but I wasn’t expecting any. Also, am I counting correctly and we still have 11 starting Canadians?

I wonder if DT referencing Eli practicing on day one as a ‘good development’ is any indication he’d like to see him takeover the starting C job… and practicing all week is a potential step in that direction. I’d be shocked if it happened, but also thrilled. I’m probably grasping at straws.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but TSN showed a stat on Sportscenter that Wilson’s 13 catches was the 2nd most in franchise history. Pretty impressive for a guy that had done next to nothing leading up to last night.

The Oline has issues, this is clear to everyone. Regardless of who you think is the biggest problem, we all agree a change should be made…. Why hasn’t anything been done? I know you want to give the unit time to gel, but they’ve had it, and it’s not working. I can’t understand how the coaching staff is happy with what they’re seeing. I’ve said it before, but my vote would be to start with Eli at C. He has better size, better athleticism, better pedigree…. He’s a better player. The fact that he’s not starting is insane to me.

If that kid has the right passport, sign him up!

I see Smith referenced in a couple posts. I REALLY hope he gets in the mix on offense…. No reason not to use him.
