I agree there is tons be upset about with both qbs and things to like about each. It’s also easy to say Nichols wouldn’t/ would have made a difference when he didn’t play these game at all. We’re talking about events that didn’t happen and pretty sure no one here can see into different timelines haha.

I think the op is just pointing out the double standard, that Nichols got a lot of unwarranted hate, while lots loved strev and thought he would be way better than Nichols.

While I agree that strev needs a different offence than Matt, having a running qb only last so long. Chris still had 12 carries and couldn’t find much room. More qbs have had success passing in this league than running.

But Nichols didn’t throw for 300 yards! I’ve heard this narrative a few times too.

I don’t believe the play call was a screen to Harris. If anything that’s on CS for a poorly timed check down to him.

How was Harris getting hurt on that play on Lapo?
