Desjarlais might be the most physical guard I’ve ever seen. Dude wanted to get violent every play, which is totally NFL style.

My take is CF needs to stop this… what would you call it “hero complex” that he’s constantly got he world on his shoulders and is always battling. He’s mentally soft and it’s annoying to see all the time.

I mean… at one point it was a thing. He may be far from that now, but it was a literal thing that happened. Anyway, all that to say, I don’t think Zach would be nearly as successful in any other org. Winnipeg has completely rejuvenated him.

I too am happy for Zach. His career would be over if he would’ve tried to come back with SSK and their offensive OLine. I don’t see it as a mistake that we traded him away because at the time Fajardo was on his way to a CFL all star and West MOP season. It was an easy decision to trade him to Toronto. Hindsight is 20/20 but I genuinely believe if he was still our QB he’d have at least two more concussions. Shoutout to the doctors in Toronto who figured out whatever was going on with his neck.

The Riders will lose bad Friday. I predict I throw my hat by the middle of the 2nd quarter. Even more sadly, I’m post-op and on antibiotics so I can’t even drink the pain away. Debated going to Calgary for the Stampeders vs. Bombers game, but the surgery was of the emergency variety. Still excited to watch that one none the less.
