  1. I hope so. Kyran Moore was a good speedster, but he had zero ability to track the ball in the air, which made him pretty redundant as a deep threat.
  2. Blake is 37 yes, but didn’t start playing pro football until he was 28. Ideally he plays on the inside, he was not good as a LT.
  3. Godber and Blake are better than Evan Johnson and the ghost of Na’Ty Rodgers. Personally, any new OLineman are welcome after the last two years. The outrage I’m seeing for signing a “potential replacement for Dan Clark” is hilarious.
  4. Pretty cool offer, imo. I haven’t seen the Grey Cup up close since 2012.
  5. It’s possible Hamilton’s asking price for Dane is too high. Them re-signing Schiltz suggests that Dane is a goner, but where is the question for sure.
  6. The east side was sliver central. The west side was metal benches, very uncomfortable in -40 weather!
  7. Fair. Micah’s even torn his ACL twice.
  8. I mentioned Sewell, Mauldin is a DE, which is more frequently recruited with studs. Forgot about Ceresna.
  9. I will say when it comes to DTs… they must be harder to find. In the last decade: Laurent, Sewell, Micah, Stove… More recently has been Mike Rose and Oakman. I’m guessing it must be a fairly difficult position to find studs at, compared to other positions on the defensive side of the ball.
  10. Maybe Micah to the Bombers? He may be a bit fragile but he can ball.
  11. I’ve said multiple times that I’ve never seen Harris put together multiple good outings consecutively. He’s efficient, and likely is the best option available, I definitely prefer him over Dane Evans. But as most have said, unless the OLine is improved, it doesn’t matter.
  12. AC has already signed in Edmonton… that took no time at all.
  13. Similar to not giving McDavid the Hart once in a while because of voter fatigue. People still know who the best player is.
  14. Re: Derek Dennis, I think he had a really solid shot at MOL last year had he not broken his leg, he was having an extremely good year… however that’s a couple bad injuries in the last few years. Might see a significant step back this year. Or, like Bryant, maybe he’s just technically very sound and will play at a high level for a long time.
  15. Desjarlais is also elite, he’s a physical specimen and loves to hit people. You guys have enough depth for it not to be too much of a concern, and Dobson looks like he’s gonna be among the good ones too.
  16. The Bombers apparently were also in on Desjarlais per Hodge.
  17. I think Bailey’s most underrated asset is his blocking. He’s top 3 in terms of blocking by a receiver.
  18. I’m excited to see the nicknames you lot will come up with for Dane Evans if he signs with the Riders
  19. Schoen is in the same neighborhood as Zylstra, no? Zylstra has carved out a nice NFL career, Schoen might get the opportunity to do the same. I think Zylstra is faster, but Schoen is a better route runner.
  20. What an absolutely awful news.
  21. Pretty interesting to post this when Walters is quite literally under contract… Not sure what 3DN is trying to accomplish here other than clicks.
  22. FWIW… not many Rider fans like Ball either. He allegedly has no sources yet spouts off like he’s an insider, and then is immediately wrong.
  23. Costello would be a major, major add for the Riders. They desperately need someone to direct the OLine.
  24. Much respect to all the people putting their mental health issues out there. I myself struggle with anxiety/depression every day. It’s an important dialogue to leave open, especially among the male population. Last year when the Bombers beat the Riders in the WF, I was quite sad, and felt numb. I did question to myself why I was letting the outcome of a game I had no control over upset me so much, but as others have echoed here, our teams really do become a part of our identity. If anyone, and I mean this, ever needs a place to vent about mental health, anything like that, please DM me. I work with a mental health support group specifically for men, and would be happy to help.
