Frankly played the Stars even if not outplayed them if you look at the series as a whole. Just too much adversity to overcome, not enough puck luck, and just enough missed opportunities to make the difference. Now we’ll hear the injury report that Morrissey likely playing with a busted shoulder and now torn knee ligaments. Scheifele playing with a concussion. Valardi a back or shoulder injury that never healed. Ehlers coming off a broken leg and not 100%. And I’d wager a bunch more we don’t know about (Schoen, Gus, Stanley, maybe Connor). Loss stings now, but what a tremendous year.

No one that I know is expecting shutouts - just that goals like that one shouldn't be going in. If that happens next game, their chance of winning will go down significantly.

Where is the f****** offense? Why does the power play suck??? Like I know everyone is banged up now but like show some effort and heart... Get the greasy goals. Not everything's going to be a skill play.
And today's game isn't solely on Hellesuck. I definitely think he should have had that first goal... Even Arneil says it should have been stopped. But when you give up a soft goal like that, it totally affects the team's psyche. You play nervous and tight because you're concerned that another s***** goal is going to be let in.
I just don't understand why this team is struggling as bad as they are. Dallas traded for Rantanen and Granlund and they have single-handedly destroyed the Jets this series.

Connor scores from that spot 99 times out of 100. Shot it right at Ottinger… Despite the Sportsnet crew slobbering all over what a great save it was.
Need to produce some offense in the 3rd, obviously, but their play has actually been pretty good…. Just need more.
