Some of the WWE storylines are pretty bad but at least they're storylines. That's what NXT takeover Brooklyn was missing.

McIntyre can come up to Raw to take the place of Cass & Roode to Smackdown.
  3. But he killed the market for any running back that came after him until then.
  4. Look who he was playing for. Things didn't improve in Indy.
  5. I remember when the Browns drafted Richardson, Jim Brown just ripped the organization about the pick. Turns out that he was right. Afterwards, NFL teams actually stopped drafting running backs in the first two or 3 rounds because he was such a bust. Until Ezekiel Elliott by the Cowboys last season.

Your last 2 sentences... NXT doesn't have more of a big time feel to it. It looks just like what it is. A PPV. It reminds me of WCW in a lot of ways before the WWF invasion. Junior to WWE. The best matches are the ones with veteran wrestlers involved. Not the wrestlers coming out of the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando.

This is a no win subject that just leads to divisiveness here.
  8. For every WF Wally has won he seems to have lost 2. Don't know the record but certainly he has had some big losses. As well as big wins, too.
  9. Never took OxyContin or any drugs like that so I have no idea. It's illegal that's all I know.

What you said was stupid & totally deserves it's own thread especially after the stats & wins show that you are a ham & egger fan.
  11. Yeah, probably right.

I thought NXT Takeover was okay. Just that. Okay. Too many kickouts to lengthen matches. Some of these developmental wrestlers are as good or better than the ones on Raw & SD. They need to go up. I just can't get over the fans that are soooo into it yelling "This Is Awesome!!" the entire time when it wasn't.
  13. This is a pretty sensitive subject. I don't think I should say much more although I could. This happened years ago.

If Corbin quit, then that would be fine with me. Good luck trying to find a career that pays anywhere close to what he made in the NFL or in the WWE. So, I think he would continue to wrestle. I feel the same way you do about McIntyre. He's more than ready to come back to Raw or Smackdown. I guess we'll see how long he remains NXT champion.

Corbin, he has nothing. Maybe he has to go & do what McIntyre did & wrestle for a few years on the Indy circuit working on his character as well as his mic & in ring skills. Looks like Amore's days with the WWE are coming to an end based on all the stories coming out about how much he is hated in the locker room. Lana doesn't deserve to be in the same ring with the women. She's a valet & a great one for Rusev. If she wants to wrestle then she needs to go to NXT & learn.

Having shitty wrestlers on Raw & SD would hurt the WWE's bottom line even more I think. Guys like Cass, Amore, Lana, Carmella & Corbin should all be sent down. Roode, Asuka & McIntyre should be sent up.
  17. When my son played for the Rifles at least one player was doing Oxycodin. The story I heard was that some testers from the CJFL came in to do random testing & the player fled the locker room before they saw him so he was never tested.

I won't totally disagree with that assessment as I watched both shows. Goalie likes Alisteir Black. I don't watch a wrestling match to just watch kicks which basically was the entire match he was in. I found it boring as nothing else went on during that match. I liked the Roode-McIntyre match. McIntyre impressed me a lot. But c'mon, all the kickouts on the finishers on the NXT Takeover PPV just cheapened the product. Every match, same thing. Kick out after kickout after kickout. I started laughing after awhile watching all the unbelievable kickouts with performers coming back literally from the dead. As far as Summerslam went, we all knew that Ambrose & Rollins would win the tag team belts. Now we also know what the ongoing plot line will be. Will Rollins turn on Ambrose or will it be Ambrose turning on Rollins? The Cass vs Show with Amore in the suspended shark cage was a terrible match. Probably the worst ever on Summerslam. As far as Jinder Mahal goes, they're doing the same thing with him as they did with Rollins. He wins always with help from the Bollywood Boyz. Like Rollins, he looks weak. Big mistake.
  19. Players get tested for it as a performance enhancement drug. And it's dangerous, highly addictive.
  20. What about OxyContin?
  21. The Printers-Dickenson thing turned into a fiasco.

Corbin the worst big man in the WWE. He is bland, vanilla, a seen it all before character & mid card talent. Trade Corbin back to NXT for McIntyre. He has a personality at least & a bit of charisma compared to Corbin.
  23. Wally can still coach but the Jennings thing is head scratching. The best qb on their team doesn't play unless the sub is hurt.

Drew McIntyre has certainly improved as a wrestler from his time in the WWE before. I was impressed with him remembering what he was like before.
  25. Did Popp make that trade before he left Montreal?
