Their primary job is to turn the play inside & not let the running backs get outside of them. For the most part they did that. Morrow did have some longer runs, though. Jeffcoat had one sack at least while Jefferson had a knockdown.

What is it going to take for Osh to smarten up & throw a challenge flag on a play like that??? What are the coaches up top doing?

They both played fine. It was our secondary that was the problem. It has been all season & continues to be. They play soft zone coverage. They don't knock the ball down. They go for interceptions & get burned mightily.

We'd have lost that challenge as the ball hit the ground before Schoen secured it. I saw a facemask on Oliveira late in the game that was missed & O'Shea never challenged it as it looked blatant. Oliveira turned his head as he was running when the Rider player grabbed his mask.

You don't give up a point in that situation. Not with a 4 point lead under 3 minutes left. It meant a FG ties instead of a TD to win & look what happened. To me, by giving up the point we opened the door for the Riders. Our secondary was terrible all game long. Not surprised we lost the way they played. These guys just want the accolades. Instead of making sure the pass is incomplete they want a Pick 6. Look what happened. On offense, no return game meant a long field all game long. The Riders were always starting at or close to mid field. Not one kick or punt return for over 10 yards. Put McCrae back there returning punts & kicks. He's better than Parker who is useless.

O Lineman are going to get beat. Why do fans think that if players don't play perfect then they must be have had a bad game? Newsflash: Johnson can still play. Judge the guy on the whole game. Not one play. Our line wasn't the problem today. How about our secondary being stupid & trying to play heroes constantly & giving up huge chunks of real estate?? Why has Lawler suddenly gone quiet? Why does it take us nearly a half to get going?? Whose decision was it to concede a single point when we were up by 4????

Exactly. The key is what you say. We have to win tonight. Every game is huge for us as long as the Lions are chasing us. We can't afford to have a bad game to let the Lions get back into the race for first place. Hopefully, O'Shea keeps his players head on straight. I don't want us to have to go to BC for the WF. I care. Why give the Lions a psychological & weather advantage if we don't have to? I've seen too many great seasons from many teams go up in smoke in the playoffs.

You are all making a big, big mistake if you guys are downplaying the BC Lions. If we play them here in the Western Final & it's cold & or snowy, I have no doubt our physical form of football with Oliveira running the ball wins as we'll stuff the ball down their throats. If we have to go to BC for the WF playing in a dome with perfect field & climate conditions indoors then all bets are off. We'll be in the fight of our lives as a team with them. We HAVE to win this game today to keep them chasing us.

She's run her course as host & should be given the boot. We can only hope that they're grooming Scianetti. When we were losing 22-0 to the Elks & we saw the panel trying to be comedic with their "dumbfounded" looks that was just awful & (to me) unprofessional for a broadcast panel to be doing that. Just so amateurish & not funny at all. You know that's all Bierness & not the other guys. Just about that whole TSN broadcast crew from top to bottom has to be replaced. In studio & in the booth. Not everyone.... With the exception of Dunigan who should stay in studio to be replaced by LaPo, Dustin Nielsen & the other young guy doing pbp.

Everybody plays the same teams in a 9 team league. We lost to Ottawa. We don't play the Argos in Toronto. Does that make our schedule any less difficult ot take awaay from our record if we win the GC because we had it easier than the Lions who were hammered at BMO Field? Evans is garbage. He certainly isn't the answer. He's a retreaded qb who's worse than Fajardo. I mean, are we really surprised here? Montreal hasn't been relevant as a team since Calvillo retired a decade ago. They're not capable of any kind of major upset as a road team. They can play like GC champions at home then a week later totally suck on the road. If anyone here was hoping for an upset playing in BC, they haven't watched the Alouettes the past few years. Not a good road team. They always seem to find a way to lose.

TSN wants prime time in the East. I hate 5 pm starts MDT. All season, I've pvr'd games & then sit on my deck bbq'ng, sipping on a cool one. Then after dinner about an hour or so later, put the game on & FF thru all the commercials. Sometimes, I'm able to catch up to real time before it ends. Mostly, I finish a few minutes after the game ends. If TSN thinks that having games on all the time during the supper hour out west sells more products for their sponsors, they're wrong. Anyway, TSN sucks in so many ways.
