Bombers FA Signings 2016
This is the first in a long time where I am feeling pretty good about the stable of quarterbacks that will be at camp. At least not since K, Jones and Glenn.

Bombers sign two release five
Well I don't know what you guys think, but it looks like maybe our scouting team is really doing something. I mean, like, we released Stoudemire, Jhomo Gordon, Davis, maybe these guys are not superstars, but they have been good players. But we have found something better. And that's a good thing.

Maybe the Riders should go after Ottawa for compensation?

Herb Zurkowsky: CFLPA President Scott Flory May Be In Trouble With Rank & File Due To His Lack Of Action Over Mandatory Drug Testing
Well it's nice to see that this has been dealt with. The CFL and the CFLPA have come to terms on a drug testing policy that even the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports (CCES) commends the agreement. I still don't understand why Keeping and his core decided to hold this like some big secret? http://www.cfl.ca/2016/04/21/cfl-cflpa-agree-new-drug-policy-2016-season/

- Alex Singleton: the best Canadian linebacker you’ve never heard about
I found that part of the article kind of strange. I always believed that in order to acquire national status, a player had to spend 5 (?) years in Canada as a youth. It appears that when it was discovered that his mother is Canadian, he became eligible for our draft and Ottawa lost his neg list rights. Just like that?!!!- Herb Zurkowsky: CFLPA President Scott Flory May Be In Trouble With Rank & File Due To His Lack Of Action Over Mandatory Drug Testing
Yes, you are right on to give him time to deal with this. But Keeping and his supporters have to know that this is an issue that needs to be dealt with, I certainly hope that there are some basic ideas in place. The media (Freisen being a frontrunner) and the CFL are waiting for the Players Association to put forth their ideas. I was certainly expecting more out of that interview. The CFLPA is certainly holding their cards close to their chests for too long. I suppose it would have been good to hear Jeff say something like, "We have been dragging our heels on this whole doping issue, and we are ready to deal with it..." Sorry, rant over. DUH- Herb Zurkowsky: CFLPA President Scott Flory May Be In Trouble With Rank & File Due To His Lack Of Action Over Mandatory Drug Testing
I see that Freisen's interview with Keeping didn't seem to go well. As far as the whole drug testing thing goes, the CFLPA it's more of the same old...- Kyle Walters interview in the WPG. SUN.
It is Drew's responsibility to keep Drew healthy. I kind of read that comment as "...don't try to be a hero, if everything is falling apart around you, ditch the ball..."- Around The League Off Season Discussion
So it seems that Orridge did the right thing, there will be no compensation to Ottawa for the Maas hiring in Edmonton. It's not that I don't believe this is not a topic worth discussing for the League, but bring it up at a manager's/ owner's meeting, it should not be tossed into the ring when there is no formal rules on this. http://www.tsn.ca/no-compensation-owed-to-redblacks-for-maas-hiring-1.463269- Around The League Off Season Discussion
So it seems that the Tiger Cats will be without Butler this season as he suffered a serious knee injury. This may put Loffler on their want list as they will need a national on the defense. Isn't it amazing how things can change. http://3downnation.com/2016/03/23/loss-of-butler-poses-significant-challenge-for-ticats/- Around The League Off Season Discussion
IIRC That wasn't sod that was dumped in the Regina driveway.- Around The League Off Season Discussion
Orridge should step in now and shut this down. If Ottawa cannot come to terms, tell them the deal is done and there will be no further compensation. I may be wrong, but it does seem like Hunt and Desjardins are just asking for too much. This type of situation has happened before in the CFL, and we never seen the whining like the Redblacks organization is putting on here!- CFL Draft
Well it seems like the receivers and the Dlinemen really impressed everyone. I don't have a problem with this. If we used our 9 and 10 pick to grab either/or, I could live with that. Walters did a great job over F/A to bring in some very good national talent. It seems like we would have no problems fielding our ratio as it stands. Unless your willing to trade up with the Riders, you will never see Vaillantcourt here, he won't last past first pick.- Introduce Yourself
Thanks for the welcome! And I know Dee, maybe we're like brothers from a different mother? Actually, I just like the mongram, like DUH!- Introduce Yourself
Hi Guys! Finally decided to join after lurking this place for a couple of years. I'm not much of an X & O's kind of guy, but I have followed the CFL and the Bombers since the '70s. I just love the 3 down game. This seems like a friendly site with some pretty knowledgeable people, so I figured it should be a great place to humiliate myself. - Alex Singleton: the best Canadian linebacker you’ve never heard about
