And after renegotiating the Willy contract... They must have someone in mind that they've only recently been able to get, like Popp.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Nichols only played with Stafford for 8 games... So?

This assumes he cannot still pull off a trade or has someone ready to step in. Maybe he thinks he has a starter but wants some insurance? You're going to pay Glenn a lot less money to hold a clipboard than Durant.

Our Goalies
Go to a Moose game to take a look at him. Don't bring him up to this (currently) train-wreck of a team.

US Politics
Yes, without political bias, it is quite troubling how this administration is framing lies. There is lot of concerning discussion.

Or just that Luke is last Jedi, until a new generation is trained.

I don't think coaching is the problem but I do think he's spread thin. I think you can be GM and Coach if you have the right group around you. I'm not sure if Jones has that right group yet. I guess we'll see.

Game Day Chat Room
I've only used it once or twice; however, I've only been with the board for one year. I would not use it for home games, as I would be there. And I would only use it for late away games, as I would likely be watching with my boys on an earlier game. EDIT: I should add, I like that type of forum for the instant reactions, picking up on things that I may have missed in the play.

I read that too. Today or tomorrow. I wonder how he'll feel this summer without the game? And I wonder if he would consider returning if the option presented itself for a desperate team?

That's true. I can't think of a single thing a Bomber RB has done to help the Riders.

When's the Rider telethon?

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
Dreger never says anything that may hurt his sources, or that hasn't been approved or spoon fed him. "Well...." The man never says anything. But, just because Dreger doesn't think the Jets will fire PoMo, that does not mean he thinks they SHOULD.... Same with Friedman and Button. They may think he should be but not that he will.

Or shutout the Flames?

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
Here's what I don't understand... . Helle/Hutch let in an early goal and team falls apart. Literally junk for several games because they fall behind and, for what ever reason, have zero capacity to play well when down by a goal. Pav let's one in on his first shot and everyone laughs it off. Good'ol Pav. If the team in front of them stopped playing so terrible, maybe the goaltenders might not fall apart? Maybe if the goaltenders had faith that someone would stick with their assignment or score some goals, they could bounce back too?!

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
Ah. Well, then, good for PoMo. I wish he was consistent with everyone. Poor play. Poor decision making. Lack of effort. Not following the 'structure'. Bad penalties. That should all be punishable.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
I thought Ehlers was demoted because he got hurt? I couldn't watch the game and just read it on Twitter. Did PoMo actually demote him because of poor play?

Walter's Priorities Part 2
He's still under contract next year.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
When it was time to make a playoff push, did the Jets go out and trade for a bunch of kids? Nope vets.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
Some insist because Connor was a Hobie Baker finalist, that he should be a top line producer in the NHL. And that Comrie is the answer to all that ails the Jets. And why not give Stanley a go.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
Tanev started with the Jets this year. Hindsight. No one knew how Ehlers would develop and, for a while, it was really slow. He could have easily spent a year in Europe. PoMo took the youth route. Jets are one of the youngest teams in the league. They could have easily sent the kids down last year and signed a bunch of vets. Maybe even reached the playoffs again.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
But PoMo would still have to agree to take on Copp. Same with Petan. Petan was given a long rope before cutting him off. Ehlers? Borderline. Could have gone to Europe for a year to play pro over there. PoMo could have asked for Stepniak back. He would have produced more last year than Ehlers. Tanev started with the Jets.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
He's played Copp Petan, Ehlers (who could have gone back to juniors or Europe, Tanev, rather than having Chevy pick up veterans.

Game 48 : Alexander @ The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Team
He's willing to play the young'uns like Ehlers, Armia, Copp, etc. Not a lot of coaches are willing to do this.
