You have to think Walters/MOS will target 'football guys'. Players that love the game. Eat, sleep, and breathe the game.

Game 64 : Wild @ 19 Games Left
Top line minutes. Stuart/Postma available tonight for 25 minutes each?

Maybe I misread the situation but I thought Milo was done right from the end of the season? The 'leaks' coming out were that he was hoping to be fired, so he could collect the cheque but still planned on leaving the team. Eventually, he was forced to quit to accept the position with the Jags. As much as I think they (Copeland) didn't treat Barker correctly and probably hampered their team, I wouldn't blame them for the Milo situation.

CHL players seek compensation in minimum-wage lawsuit
Yup. It's considered a development league and very important to feed the NHL. The NHLPA should help by supporting it too.

This could be a hockey trade. Young centre for a young dman? Let's them protect Perreault, who can play 3rd line centre. Don't want it, just speculating how trading Lowry might work. But he's probably sick. Missed the update.

Esks have released Eddie Steele. Any chance the Bombers can the Winnipeg boy home?

Jets Prospects
I don't think they'll bring Roslovic up. There's no room for him right, anyhow, and he could use the minutes.

Mystery Miller
There are a lot of costs associated with the lease payments on the new stadium. When the placed is packed, they make lots of money. They certainly make a lot more at the gate now and in concessions. They've weathered the storm on the down years and now, hopefully, we can have some sustained success that will translate into increased ticket sales.

I'm not interested in rushing him, but I would love to see Connor get a few games back with the big club at the end of the season. A reward for his development. Both teams are out of it anyhow.

No doubt. Although, if Laine played against the 2nd/3rd/4th line of the opposing teams, like Matthews does, I bet Laine would have even more points. And, if he played as many games as Matthews.

Mystery Miller
Last season, after the first few weeks of the season, the team looked horrible and were running Willy out each week. I was convinced that, despite being obviously more talented, that MOS needed to go. I blamed Miller for not pushing Walters more on the situation. I was wrong. MOS made the right moves/decisions and things turned around. I'm not the biggest Miller fan. That being said, he's done a good job of getting the right people in the club and changing the atmosphere. A bit slower than I had hoped but everything has been for the positive, so far. I think that there are plenty of areas that they can improve on the game-day experience and will always vocalize my opinion to that on the team but, overall, I think the Bombers are a much better organization now than they were a few years ago and will continue to get better. The less we see of Miller (or any President), the better. And, as time has passed, we're seeing him less and less.

My instincts tell me that Poolman will make his NHL debut on Saturday, April 1st against the Senators.

Oh, for sure. I bet Chevy is just trying to get maximum value.

You're assuming that she doesn't have any prospects or hasn't been doing any scouting.

There are a lot of potentially great goalies available to Vegas. Including those noted above and Raanta. Penguins should be safe. Fleury has to provide 18 teams that they can trade him to. They could trade him for a 7th round pick, if they choose, just to protect Murray. You only need one team to play ball who thinks Fleury is an upgrade over what they currently have.

I've failed you and, for that, I'm sorry. It's hard to know exactly what their strategy will be. They have to get to the salary floor of $54 Million and they will be a player in FA. But how excited are players going to be to sign there? I guess that depends on who they draft and who their coach is.

Vegas has to take at least nine d, no less. (Also, 14 forwards and three goalies)

Around The NHL 2016/2017
The trick is not adding a d that will get plucked in the expansion draft.
