Around The NHL 2020/21
I love Bob but he's been pumping Ambrosie for weeks. Fact is the NHL played during the pandemic is what has been a model for other leagues. The Canadian Premier League planned and played a season (THE CPL!!!!!!). MLS is playing their season. The NBA finished their season. The NFL is playing but is totally screwed because they didn't do a bubble. MLB did a bubble and it worked. The CFL did nothing and has no plan. But, we can still talk about the international players.

He was the best of the lot but he's been really disappointing. His lack of leadership on the opening of Portage and Main was embarrassing. A bunch of NIMBYs who were afraid that opening it would lead to a 15-minute increase in their commute times (despite the review, which indicated less than a minute) won a ridiculous plebiscite. They were idiots and so was he on it. He hasn't really brought forward a new vision and he's consolidated so much power in the EPC, you wonder what council is for? I hope Lukes run. Better not get Klein or Browarty as our next mayor. We'll just go deeper in debt and much further down the "stupid" path, like above, with those yahoos. Yup.

Interesting, seems he's not going to run. I wouldn't be surprised if he's "talked into running" for a Federal seat at some point in the near future.

It was totally expected. He's going to run for the Liberals in the next Federal election, I think.

We're witnessing the Pallister gov't copying what the Ontario PCs and UCP are doing. He did the same with Wall's gov't in SK.

Trump is a failure. In fact, from now on, all complete failures will be known as trumps. "Ugh, the Riders are complete trumps this year, like every other year." "You really trumped that up bad."- Space is the Place

I couldn't find it; however, it showed that they were allowing a historic number of points. Found this, ha!- 2020-21 NFL Discussion Thread
The Dallas defense is historically bad. Bad, bad, bad. I saw some stats last night and I'm going to try to find them again.- Covid-19
Brent has no say. This was all lobbying by the hotel industry to the Conservatives. I bet there will be bumps to their political donations this year.- Covid-19
Technically, they lowered the capacity to 50% again. However, they're basically at 50% anyhow due to other social distancing rules. I guess table group sizes were also dropped as a result of the max 5 people. At gyms, there have been some exposures but no outbreaks. (Yay!) Although, recently in Ontario, an exposure at a spin class lead to a bunch of cases.- US Politics
As soon as they open their mouths, they're making fools of themselves, I find.- Covid-19
Mostly I agree but I think the bars have been big drivers of cases along with large group sizes for events. Should have done it month ago.- The Trade Thread
Laine had like 75% of his time on ice with Sheif last year. And, he got more 5on5 ice time than Wheeler too, I believe.- Covid-19
Interesting. At Walmart, it's been compulsory since August and I would say, in my experience, that's been adhered to. But, you would still see people with them on, pushed down below their chins. Costco was 100% yesterday but we have additional measures here. - US Politics
