  5. They have a lot more energy than I thought. Perhaps the rumours of their demise are grossly exaggerated.

Well, he won't leave Florida, so I'm all for it. Drag every Trumper out into the heat of summer to wax poetic about the stolen election. Every Trumper deserves to sit in the blazing sun while the moron spews nonsense. It's glorious.

  8. It's all top secret, locked behind impenetrable security.

Thanks! That was actually somewhat informative. Some info is leaking out now and I can see some of the hurdles that they're facing. If you keep watching, Naylor and Smith talk about the USFL. It does just seem to be a rebranding exercise for the spring league. I'm far less worried about the spring league having an impact on the CFL. In fact, it's a great place to recruit from.

Yes, for travel. But, we already have that for many countries. I'm referring only to internal movement and attending events. I don't want to have to provide evidence perpetually when I go to IGF. We should aim to have these measures only for a period of time. Fingers crossed, it won't be necessary after too long.

I see the vaccine passport as a short-term measure until the virus is virtually eradicated. I'm not sure how long that will take but the quicker everyone gets vaccinated, the better.

    Awesome!

April 25th and before can now book their second vaccine shot. @Sard Linky below.
  14. Maybe there is some hope to get him back before the series ends. I'm not optimistic, though. I'm glad I don't have a soft tissue injury. I have so much soft tissue right now that it would be unbearable.

It's going to be amazing. I can't wait. I'm a huge Bourdain fan. His writing was great and his TV (and streaming stuff) is all very enjoyable.

Yeah, he's being largely panned for everything that comes out of his mouth. The fact is that our health care system was so damaged from their recent cuts, that a pandemic of this nature would expose them for the frauds they are. If the Conservatives ever regain power in this province over the next twenty years, we should be ashamed.

Unlike last spring, this year the teachers are ready. They have lots of material and they're doing lots to engage the kids. But, they're no competition for Unspeakable or whatever other Youtuber has their attention. And, they miss their friends.

I think "best" means the most stable at the time. Outcomes certainly vary.

So, schools are remote for the rest of the year in Winnipeg, Brandon and a few other places. To the parents out there, how are your kids coping with this year's remote learning? My boys (11 and 7) are not doing well. The youngest has challenges staying focused, engaged and on task. It's been terrible. My oldest is fine but I fear he's not learning much. This year is so much worse.
  20. Question is, why didn't any Habs look to protect him or even check on him? ... Scheif's hearing is on now.
  21. Of course, tearing down statues or putting up plaques has nothing to do with reconciliation. However, I certainly don't want these people honoured in our parks. I don't want their them honoured with street names. We can teach history without honouring those that perpetrated the genocide.
