    They should offer Medlock a short term "performance based" contract. There are only 8 games left assuming they go all the way to the Grey Cup. Estimate about 20 field goal attempts. Pay him around $5,000 for every successful field goal.

    I fail to see how getting your team humiliated in the last game of the season, tiring out your defence and not giving even a few reps to your starting QB is smart preparation for the playoffs.

    Welcome to the CFFL (Canadian "Flag" Football League):
     
    In 2014 there were an average of 20 penalties per game in the CFL.
    After 8 games in 2015 there is an average of 25 penalties per game (a 25% increase)!
    In the NFL since 1991 there is an average of 12.5 penalties per game.
    It's getting harder and harder to enjoy the CFL experience with these number of disruptions to the flow of the game.
