Id imagine the numbers been growing in recent years with canadians doing better at the game. I did watch the end of the duke game and the UConn/Colorado game, the 2nd game was pretty good

I believe theres a difference tho in how you approach a tv show to a movie. a movie, especially if your aim is at box office success almost demands it be a big battle adventure. One of the issues I had with TOS movies were some of them seemed like just long episodes from tv, thats not really what i wanna see when I go to a movie, it needs to be the concept but on steroids

there's aspects of Xmen Im interested in based off the trailer, such as storm having brown hair then a white mohawk, If apocalypse makes Angel into archangel, I wonder if he has some impact on storm. Also if he's sort of upgrading his horsemen, what does he do for Magneto and Psylocke. The other thing was in the trailer, Angel and Nightcrawler are fighting in what looks like a caged ring. are mutants being exploited by the humans for game. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be the same angel as the character from X-men last stand, but in that movie he wanted to be normal and lose his wings, and now he's fighting with apocalypse and Magneto to basically cleanse the world for mutants to rule

interesting when they mention he always has 4 followers, the horsemen of the apocalypse. at the 0:51 mark it shows him on a cliffside with Angel, Magneto, Psylocke and Storm behind him. I guess that poster Bigg Jay posted a little while ago, was indication thats his horsemen

I dont think I like how apocalypse looks, but other then that this looks like it could be a good movie **also like that "angel" is shown with his metallic wings at 0:45 mark of this trailer, ushering in the archangel

cool, I dont mind Rouseys previous roles, but I dunno if she can top Daltons role, but if any female could I suppose her or Gina Carano would have been my picks

I dont mind them trying to redo movies with modern CGI such as the 10 commandments remake Exodus, as long as they dont go stupid with it, such as those Rock monster guys in Noah. Ben Hur seems to be a pretty popular one around xmas, but I cant think of anything that really needed CGI touch ups like the parting of the red sea

you know the season has been flushed down the toilet when another **** teams win is cause for celebration

and you make a good point, you dont want to piss off your loyal and die hard fan base. I just get the feeling thats why abrams was brought on, make this movie big badass and a blockbuster and it'll open the door to way more TV and movie options for the foreseeable future. I'm not sure what the state of Star Trek has been in the 2000's but seemed like there was a time, at least for sure in the 90's there was star trek everything anywhere you looked, movies, tv show after tv show. did they need a shot from the defibulators to respark huge interest again or have I just not noticed TV the way i used to

such as reading your opinions on Chris Pine and his performance. I've seen enough TOS episodes over the years to know how Shatner acted both in his younger and older days, which for the most part wasnt the way Pine was, but if your going to usher in a new "kirk" maybe that was the point, in various cinematic and television formats often let the actor add his own spice when rehashing an already established and beloved character

I see that you all have crazy issues with the latest movies, but from a non die hard and traditionalist to the previous stuff, I think they were ok enough to entertain the unenlightened such as myself. Could I see where they could have done better, absolutely but I wonder if the way they went about it wasnt to try and appeal to a new audience

nope, same with star trek, I think i just fell into a time where i was too young for TOS, and by the time TNG came around i was still too young and it was too complicated (i think i would have been 5 or so when TNG came out)

thats really all it takes, I was doing acid washing on some building downtown on lombard from a swing stage a few years ago, and when your constantly arching your back like a C, it really takes the slightest movement and you pull something. I remember going to tie my work boots and it was like pop. i did something to the discs in my lower back and was down and out for like 3 months on such a trivial movement

well husky harris has never struck me as one in mint physical condition, however I can attest that it doesnt take a whole lot to tweak your back, but when you do, holy balls is it painful for the next few months, even just laying down trying to sleep can prove excruciating. Luckily for WWE they've done sweet nothing with the Wyatts so this doesnt really hurt the WM card. however now that it reduced the Wyatts numbers to 3, maybe we see Harper, Rowan and Stroman mix it up a bit with New day and/or LoN and get a 3 way title picture going on, maybe 4 if you throw in the Lucha dragons, and just keep the Usos and Dudleys seperate

a new season is coming out or just came out, I hope they bring back the green bastard. If they were willing to do the return of Conky, they need to pay homage to other great bubbles characters
