Exactly.....Fergie made some MAJOR blunders with 1st round picks over the years he was here. I liked him but some of his picks were more than questionable. Overall he did more good than bad.

Mainly because of the uncertainty if he would or would not have to be protected if there were an expansion draft in 2018. Too bad, I would have loved to have seen him with some offensive-minded players.

I said earlier it would be a good idea to trade our 2nd this year and next and Chicago's 1st this year to move up for a second top 10 pick. Throw in Staf too and get a 7-10 pick. Getting Chychrun and Tkachuk would be almost too much to hope for. Some say Chychrun is ready for the NHL now and most think Tkachuk is only one year away.

We'd still get a pretty good player at 7th.

I'd rather see Connor and/or Armia in the top 6 before Stafford..........Perreault too for that matter. top six.......ESW, Little, Perreault and that is 5. Who should the 6th be? I'd say Connor before Armia before Stafford. If we draft one of the Finns, that pick would be top 6.
