Illegal contact is another bad one. In slow motion it always looks like the guy held the receiver forever when in real time it was a fraction of a second. Passing numbers are so high because the of the BS calls on the other side of the field that had nothing to do with the play also. Combined with these review's, its no wonder no one runs the ball anymore.

I find the slow-mo on hits to always make the player look guilty. Slow-mo on possession of fumble or whether or not someone is in bounds to be critical. On the receptions when its disputed whether someone was bobbling the ball or not, slow-mo always looks like the receiver had control when in real time he had it for a split second.

The reason you have Nichols is for the experience coming off the bench. He is a good backup. He is not the future, he has had many times in Edmonton to grab starters job, he isn't good enough.

I know our qb situation is giving you guys some amusement but we'll be fine. DD out 1 or 2 games and Gale looks fine. The Riders are playing like crap on many fronts, but qb isn't the issue. Gale played good, key drops by Roosevelt, Chiles, and Bagg and bad times hurt us. No running game hurt us. All 3 starting Canadians on our oline out hurt us. It was when Labatte took the nasty knee to back of head that things went south for us. DD hurt on dirty shot, what a surprise. Brooks takes 3 nasty shots on our qbs and we have to challenge just to get a call, looks bad on the league whether you hate the riders or not. I'm not happy about a lot of things I seen from the Riders that's for sure.

You may be right. I'm a black or white kinda guy. If the plays coming in require the ball to be moved down field and he isn't doing it, his ass is on the bench. If its the other way than Lapo is answering for it. I understand that every play has multiple routes and reads and the qb needs to do what he thinks he needs to do to be successful. Certain plays have deep routes as the first read is more what I was referring to. Either way there is a problem that needs to be addressed by the head coach.

How tall is Pavelec? Has anyone ever seen him throw a football?.......

Getting the ball with 1:29 on the clock with 100 yards to go for the winning td isn't exactly a gimme for any qb.
