    Given the absolute **** attitude he's shown why do you want him as a backup? Poor skills and a poor attitude... thats a no from me.

    Just make the damn playoffs, but will need more of this current Lowry, Nino and Apples etc grinding board type play come playoff time. If that happens, watch out.

    At 28 years old and 3 straight pt/gm seasons on a weak team, I'd hardly say he is past his prime. Although he has requested a trade, he has a full NTC, so he'd have to approve the destination. The big risk is his $8.7M price tag for the next 6 years, taking him to 34. This would also block Lambert's potential development as a C. Even if Larkin approved a trade here, I'd prioritize Top 4 D over 2C.

    I think with a +26 TO Ratio you would be expecting around 14-4 wouldn't you? The Riders were elite at turning those turnovers into punts though.

    I read that in Montreal he kept telling people that he was going to take it one season at a time. They had Alexander 5 years younger & cheaper. Loose lips sink ships. Saying that reminds me of a Forest Gump quote... "Stupid is as stupid does." Keep your intentions to yourself.

    I would take him here as a backup,imagine him coming into a playoff game against Saskabush and winning! Course the head exploding would be going off here too if we signed him...😆
