  1. Bauming's comment confuses the hell out of me.
  2. He's definitely a Top-10 starting centre in this league.
  3. Imagine BLM in Regina. It would take a half before he started yelling at that OL and maybe a game before he punches out Gainer.

  5. Wouldn't that be a hell of a thing if Geoff Gray turned out to be the adequate replacement (you'll never truly replace the future HOF-er) we've been hoping for??

He's a liar. This is known. The man marched with terrorists on their way to terrorize more people. It's the Convoy Party.
  7. maybe it's because if Bryant was gonna be out, they'd be working one of the imports there for 1st team reps as his replacement...This is prob for in game reasons in case he gets knicked again....no need to make 2 changes on the line if you don't need to Bryant finished the last game just fine....resting the big fella won't hamper his game production...he needs no reps

My concern with the way the Provincial Conservative governments have been running is to hack and slash at the health care programs to the point where they can point to them and say "see how broken the health care system is, we need to privatize it in order to fix it". For some reason, they seem to think that the American model of health care is the better way to go, and all evidence world wide points to the contrary. A healthy public health system is the best option for society as a whole.

  12. A bonus should be awarded to the Bomber player who can set Duke off. It's already been 01 days since a Rider incident.
  13. Hickson is a major loss... he basically has been the only guy on offense showing up in the last many games for them.
  14. 5 points
the thing I love best about the Riders **** show, is that it's EXACTLY what we all predicted would happen a couple years ago when Dickie took over that **** show and made Faj a starter. They fluked out some grace period, but everything we all thought was gonna happen is finally happening EXACTLY as predicted (though we could never have wished for this much fun...)
  15. So a player attacks his head coach on Instagram, and the head coach apologizes? Yikes. How the hell did Noeller like my post twice? Witchcraft!
  16. Grey went in as LT for a drive in the banjo bowl when Stanley got nicked up they drove the field for a TD

Seriously playing the Trump playbook to a tee on everything. 'Hardly know the guy . . .'.
  18. BLM and Dunnigan with QB mindsets talking football. I'd take that.

Wilcots practiced with the 1st team yesterday, drawing in off the PR. Not super impressed with the D-line recruiting this season, no one has shown they can make much of a direct impact or help distract attention away from Willy and Jeffcoat. It would be great if Hansen was able to return for the playoffs, at least he adds a steady push.

Stamps sign Maier to an extension through '24, including 400k in hard money. In their press release, the Stamps even go so far as to mention that they'll be talking to Bo at the end of the season and that "all options are on the table", which seems like code for "See ya!" Interesting times in the 403....

anti science racists on the school board. just the start. these people are stupid, but energetic. they are zealots. it is important to vote, after figuring out who the crackpots are. These people have already done massive damage, just with the cost of caring for them after they get sick. and the stress on the medical workers, and the medical system. people with avoidable disease, clogging the system, and ruining lives of people with non preventable diseases. repulsive morons, a burden on society.

  23. Those other times are useless to me, because I didn't see them. 😁
  24. Thought Geoff Gray played well for being thrown into the breach on short notice and into a position he hadn't played much at of late.

man....had almost forgot about Harris and his irrelevance now...had he stayed here and swallowed some pride....been happy with a rotational/situational guy, he'd likely still be playing....having a nice yr and in the thick of a 3rd straight cup and further cementing his place here in Bomber lore...and being very relevant...in an extremely relevant market....sad how it played out

I think it will depend on how the season plays out. People crap on MBT, but his team is the 1st in the league to lock up a home playoff date (he is in the east...but still). If they make it to the GC, I'm not sure they'll be quick to move on from the guy. He's also the only QB to beat the greatest Defense in CFL history. I can see OTT/MTL/SSK maybe Hamilton and EDM making a play for him, again depending on how the season plays out.

And yet all of the European-Nordic-Asian (etc) countries that have significantly or greatly higher tax rates consistently report satisfaction rates of citizens much higher than the US with lower rates of violent crime, infant mortality, maternal mortality and higher life expectancy than America. Apart from material possessions and funding the ultra-rich, I cannot see much advantage to the American capitalist model. Whatever Americans save on initial taxes they lose through healthcare costs, higher tuition, exorbitant utility costs and other delayed living costs. Moreover, the societal distress and conflict from all of the inequality has even greater costs to societies.
  29. Dan Clark is back to shore up that OL.

Alberta government calls on RCMP to ignore federal firearms ban within province https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/alberta-government-calls-on-rcmp-to-ignore-federal-firearms-ban-within-province-1.6084864 Think about these numbers, the AB. govt is willing to upset the apple cart for 326,709 licensed firearms owners of which 149,000 possess restricted firearms, in a province with a total population of 4.3 million. They certainly don't seem to be representing the majority of their citizens. All this bluster will do is rile up the wingnuts and endanger the life of RCMP officers appointed to collect the restricted firearms that are not turned in.

I think the timing is great. Fajardo is probably in full meltdown mode over the thought of BLM potentially going there (either this season or next) and taking his job. 😂

Swoosh as his credibility flushes away. I get being a professional head coach is a tough gig but imo I think CD sometimes greatly misinterprets what a good player coach looks like.

It is hilarious hearing their head coach confirm all the stuff we said in real time. They weren’t that good and they weren’t beating anybody. He knows what’s up

Yes, it isn't social services correlation to taxation that I have a problem with. It's wasteful spending's correlation to increased taxation that bothers me. I have no issue with paying a much higher tax rate than our US counterparts for the extra services we receive. I just don't like money being thrown about willy nilly with no regard to deficits or tax rates. I think centrist parties strike a nice balance in doing this, and it is mostly why the Liberals have been in power most of the last century. I don't like when economics slip too far left, or right. These type of governments should be replaced after no more than two terms imo. Absolutely. I voted for the PCs to take over from the NDP on the promise of fixing our finances. They went way over the top though and we now need an NDP government for a term just to balance this **** out. In my perfect world the PCs and NDP would go 8 years at a time and balance each other out. When one party takes it way too far, they need to go.

They're getting into politics now. I wish I was joking. School board trustee position are being targeted. Will be very important to know who you're voting for.
  40. Yeah for 29 points over 2 games. Hence the losing. He was a great OC with a historically great D and special teams, which is what he had the entire time of his third stint here. Hall's D set records for turnovers, we had Medlock with historical seasons and playoff runs. We weren't scoring many TD's on O. The best thing Lapo did here was realize that Streveler was a guy who needed a role on O.
