In a close game like this, gotta give a star to legs with the gutsy 55 yard field goal, and 49 yard punt on a play that should have been a block.

Hit is both late and a head shot. League needs to do something about this. Got teams on their 2nd and 3rd QB's. Riders have knocked out two starters in games they lost, only one to a cheapshot but still. Gotta do something.

Underrated is Leggs deeking the Rider that out when he had the punt all but blocked. Then proceeds to get a big punt off. Real game changer there.

I’ll take an ugly LDC win 100% of the time it’s always a game where crazy -ish happens. Getting run over early with the 0-11 deficit had the makings of the pre-Collaros LDC we’re used to seeing. The good guys got it together and got it done. Go Blue!!

On our 2nd SAM (Rutledge Jr a huge find) 3rd WIL, 4th safety, 4th boundary corner because Glass couldn’t cut it and now Houston and Rene out so Rose moves back and struggling hard… add a pretty raw Parker on the field corner. Back up centre, missing Ellingson, Agudosi, Couture out for this game… even special teams has to be considered depleted because a lot of those same back ups of back ups would be doing foot soldier duty. If Bombers could field the roster with those guys playing, it’s much closer to 2021 domination imho.

I think it needs to be strong. They need to protect QB's. Bad enough when it's a cheap shot on a center, league absolutely cannot afford to lose any QB's. Collaros 100% the best QB in league with Rourke out. Can't be open season to smoke QB's on a play when the guy clearly doesn't have the ball.

Sometimes when there are borderline dirty players we'll see commentators and other supposedly neutral observers try to word things carefully. The fact that Rider homer Glenn Suitor called it a cheap shot and you've got other TSN personalities now calling it out show how far gone Marino is. The league needs to feel heat for this, it is pretty clear that Marino is very likely to do this again next week if he's on the field at all.

Saw a guy walking out of stadium with a brand new Marino jersey on. Thats just a walking billboard that your probably a trash person.

The league has to view this as a huge issue. I mean there's a mix of awful QB play and injuries and you have one team going around pretty openly trying to injure QB's. That's the only purpose of that hit.

Reminds me of the old days of radio. I was working a Sunday shift playing one of those top 30 countdown shows that came on reel to reel. During a commercial break I accidentally hit the FF button. I hit the stop button and it stopped so suddenly the tape snapped and the reel kept spinning shooting tape everywhere. While I spun the tape back onto the reel and spliced it back together I was pumping one psa after another into the cart deck. Must have played close to 10 straight til I was able to get the show back on the air.

He takes three steps after the ball has been pitched and leans into Collaros. Every other defensive lineman has turned and is tracking the ball and ball carrier .. Zach isn’t a thought in their mind. Even Robertson who was getting buried by Gray on that play breaks for the ball. It was late and unnecessary and the kind of hit that no longer has a place in the game and hasn’t for some time.

Honestly don't see any of our guys making a hit like that on a QB who handed ball off very clearly and isn't even trying to fake a boot or anything. There's only one player in the league making that hit. Even Lawrence's big hits are on guys with ball or QB who just released ball on a scramble. And that's just it. You can see Marino locate the ball and then make the choice to hit the QB who clearly does not have the ball. There's no defense of "oh I thought it was a read option." Collaros doesn't run with the ball. The fake to Demski is the option. Did he chase down Demski? No. He locates the ball and drills the QB who's barely even moving, more or less stationary at the point.

Yup...its a given any game has gonna throw up a Faj...and he did...and a lot of his passes he made were high and allowed defendes to minimize the gain...will give him props he made a few good tosses...but that's not the norm..and is reason he is the Faj and not championship calibre QB. Majority of their "big" pass plays came off sandlot effort..and dropped coverage...miscues in a secondary can be fixed...sandlot football isnt a sustained success plan...let's se how he does on the road...in the IG environment...if they had won I was seeing a competitive game...they didnt ..so I see a real beat down coming..especially if we get some troops back

Duke Williams takes a "misconduct" penalty, while wearing street clothes.... .....absolute winner of the dumbest penalty of the year... Riders follow that up with illegal blocking call.......now out of FG range... Collaros's long pass almost caught by Demski....but pass knocked away... CF gets sacked by Rutlidge. Both teams having hard time moving the ball... Punt goes over Holm's head and has to concede the go ahead single 18-17 Riders... Zac rolls out and hits Schoen for FD. Zac finds Woltman for another.. Leggs comes out with 3:00 left to try a 55 yard FG with the wind..... .....and drills it right through!! 20-18 Bombers. Fajardo throws a couple of passes for FDs. Hickson takes option play... ....and runs down to the Bomber 26. Need a D hold, here... CF throws up the middle, off Hickson's hands..... .....and Hallet comes up and intercepts it!!! Bomber ball!! Zac 2nd down pass to Woltman for huge first down.... Demski sweeps for 8. Prukop in, and he runs round the end for FD. Bombers finally have to punt, but Alford stays in bounds on the return.. 8 seconds left. Fajardo throws up a prayer.....but receiver double covered... ....and knocked down by Bighill...45 yds down the field.... Game over. 11-1. Bombers just kept plugging away ....as I keep drinking away...

We win @ our vacation home again

Not only did we silence our most hated (and rightfully so) rival, in their own stadium, in front of the biggest crowd of the year, while missing some key players, and the Riders sabotaged their own team through stupid actions and decisions. They have relegated themselves to no better than fourth place in the west.

Suitor can take solace in the fact that the play of the game was made by a rider player... even if he wasn't dressed.😂
