3 pointsSpeaking of the CFLs brief foray into the U.S., Lions beat writer Ed Willes announced his retirement the other day. He wrote a book called End Zones and Border Wars: The Era Of American Expansion in the CFL.... I've never read it but was told that it's absolutely fantastic, so I ordered it on Amazon. Can't wait to read it. Might be of interest to others on here...3 points- US Politics

2 pointsLaine should not be traded. He is a star. This whole debacle started when we lost 4 starting defensemen. That is not easy to move on from. It affects everybody. Plug some holes, but don’t trade your stars..2 points- US Politics

1 pointFactoids: - Part two of Trump's never-ending interview with Laura Ingraham begins with Trump calling on Bill Barr to prosecute the likes of Obama and Biden - Aaron Ruper - Trump ludicrously suggests that more people die from state economies being shut down than from Covid - Mike Pence was never put on standby, & there were no mini-strokes. This is just more Fake News by @CNN, a phony story. The reason for the visit to Walter Reed, together with the full press pool, was to complete my yearly physical. Short visit, then returned (with press) to W.H... - Trump- Katheryn WatsonJust to note that the visit wasn't that short — the president was inside Walter Reed for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. I was in the press pool and motorcade that day. The trip was not on his schedule, we were summoned pretty quickly, and weren't told where we were going.- BREAKING: Pence says he “doesn’t recall” if he was told to take over when Trump made his emergency visit to Walter Reed. Which absolutely confirms the story. Trump is unwell and completely unfit for office. Scott Dwarkin- Biden says he’d like a real-time fact-checking service broadcast during the debates due to the volume of Trump’s lies: “I’d love to have a crawler across the screen, a fact-checker.” - Marc Caputo- Do you think when Donald Trump obsesses about mini strokes he’s thinking about his golf game? - Dan Rather- Minnie Strokes is the name of one of the porn stars Cohen had to pay off. - Jay Black- "Mini Strokes" also happens to be Stormy's nickname for Trump. - Alex Cole- “A Minnesota biker who attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has died of covid-19 —- the first fatality from the virus traced to the 10-day event that drew more than 400,000 to South Dakota.” - John Harwood1 point- comedy stuff

1 pointthat's a God-awful video, but fitting for that dump of place. What a win....I remember Demski returning the kick late and going "well, here's Labour Day for you......" and then we pull it out of the fire with a Meddy walk-off.....unreal. What a game.1 point- Covid-19

No she governed consistently, stupid people just believed that she was responsible for the problems that existed before she became premier. Look i dont care overly much for most ndp, and I never voted ndp. But they were infinitely better than kenney who was always going to be the same shitty premier he is now. You talk about notleys history yet totally gross over the fact that kenney has been a **** weasel is entire life. Alberta was better off with her in charge and the mess you UCP voters gave us will take decades to clean up. I will never let that go.1 point- Black Lives Matter

0 pointsFox News aired the second part of President Donald Trump’s lengthy interview with Laura Ingraham on Tuesday and it was nearly as wild as the first one. 👁🗨 Also shows you what a suck-up Ingraham is... https://apple.news/AXWMoPf9BQE6fqmBMGK7m7g trump part 2 In the sequel chat, Trump continued his attacks on Biden, but with a twist. In the past, he has repeatedly ― and without evidence ― claimed that Biden was “mentally shot.” Now, however, Trump claims Biden has a souped-up brain from some kind of drug. And he wants drug tests before the debates as a result.During the interview, Trump insisted he won the 2016 popular vote ― which he lost by nearly 3 million ballots ― because he should’ve received the votes of the libertarian candidate. He also made unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud in California and New York:At another point in the interview, Trump said Democratic governors controlled football and traffic signals. But he stopped mid-sentence to turn to the camera and address someone – exactly who, it was unclear ― and say he wants college football.0 points- Covid-19

0 pointsShe kept saying she was for the oil patch yet there she was marching in anti oil demonstrations before she became Premier. She hired anti oil activist Tzeprah Berman to advise the provincial energy department. She appointed anti oil activists on the Alberta Energy Regulator. Notley was friendly with Greenpeace activists & then go out & pay $2 billion dollars for rail cars to move oil. She would say one thing then do the opposite so how were we supposed to judge who was better or worse? Maybe if she governed with some kind of consistency & didn't send out mixed messages she'd still be in power. Her stupidity helped with her downfall as well.0 pointsAccount
