He struggled when he came back at tail end of season. Total non factor in post season. Health status, awaiting surgery etc. might be what's holding contract up. Thinking out loud. None of Lapo's guys followed him. Besides flanders which doesn't count I honestly think that says something about players faith in him. Loss of Strev..Nichols and the 2 DB's aside I actually think we are gonna be a stronger team to be honest And the fact that we can basically start the season intact and not having to incorporate new coaching staff and starters gives us a nice edge. Johnson at halfback being a very good vet will make us not skip a there as well with incorporating either a new guy in..or one with slightly less experience..from all accounts he is very knowledgeable and a great communicator on the field...boundary corner I'm not even concerned with..eAsiest spot on the defence to groom a newbie..

Tasker is only 29. Had a year of setbacks with injury, but he's had four 1000 yard seasons. 100k area is a low risk move with potential for high reward

I'd be fine adding Tasker at a nice discount in the low 6 figures. Veteran guy that has experience in two very different styles of offense in his CFL career, knows how to find open space and catch the ball.
