I'd seriously consider sitting Darvin Adams next week. 4 plays to him tonight where he just completely gave up. Petermann, Bailey....we got guys waiting for an opportunity, maybe it's time to move on from some of these underwhelming guys giving half-assed effort.

That's always the fall back excuse. Don't replace them because who else is out there? Great reason to keep shitty coaches.

LaPolice working for TSN was absolutely great for his career. They constantly praise him despite the results... Suitor: Well Chris, LaPo is going to build an offense so his young quarterback can thrive. Bombers run Harris up the middle, resulting in 2nd and 9. Suitor: That one didn't work but it definitely got the defense thinking. The good thing about LaPo is that he's going to be creative. Streveler runs a QB draw for a short gain. Suitor: You can really see that Streveler needs to develop more as a passer. He's got some work to do. [next series] Suitor: Well I'm excited to see what the mad scientist Paul LaPolice will draw up here. Bombers run a screen to Lucky Whitehead for a short loss. Suitor: Look at how the offense stretched the defense there, that'll be setting them for up something later, I'm sure about that... Bombers complete an 8 yard pass short of the sticks. Suitor: This offense is dangerous Chris, that play was pretty close to making a first down.

He still needs to improve but he did some good things tonight. As a point of comparison, Nichols passed for 261 with a td and 3ints versus Hamilton in July and we put up 15 points.

My thoughts... Hamilton played a MUCH more physical game than us, AGAIN... They won the battles in the trenches all night long. If there was a team I'd want to emulate, it would be them. Lapo sucks (old news). I hope he gets a head coaching job somewhere else. I think our O could benefit from giving Augustine some reps in the second half. I love Harris, but I just feel like he fades at the end of the game a bit. Augustine came in for two plays while Harris went off injured, and looked good. He ripped off a 12 yard reception and a 9 yard run. A little bit of Augustine could be a good thing. Has Lucky done anything since week 2? I'd swap him for Bailey. Lalwler is good! Sub Petermann for Demski. Not sure why we don't see more of Petermann, he looks good whenever he sees the field. Hect... just no. Bighill just doesn't look like the same impact player this year. If his name wasn't Bighill I'd be calling for him to be benched. I sure hope he can turn it around.

Whoever is responsible for Jeff Hecht starting at safety and continuing to see the field needs to share the vision of what they are hoping to achieve. I doubt that person is Richie Hall. The sad part is they have gone with it all year. Fenner is playing out of position and would be an upgrade at safety imo. 150 defensive backs were just released from NFL camps. Maybe when Alexander comes back, Hecht sits. Never mind half time adjustments, mid season adjustments are tough for these guys.

Nichols has one win vs a +.500 team and we needed two punt return TDs and a Winston Rose INT in the last minute to get that done. Record of teams Nichols faced: 34-44 Record of teams Streveler has faced: 31-19

How about 4 games vs non-playoff teams and the 5th one vs a lousy Edmonton team who we beat by forcing them to 7 FG's for 5-0.

The only way things will change is if LaPo is gone.

I realize this is not the team I (most people) thought they were. we are not a top tier team, more of a upper end of middling team. Going forward, I will still support the team, absolutely root for them- but with no expectations anymore, cuz that is not healthy. Am I wrong in this line of thinking? How about you guys? Are you also having to consciously suppress the involuntary urge to throw your remote through the TV screen screaming "throw the ******* ball!"? Or am I overreacting? Has anyone else changed their expectations of the team recently?

Even if it was done to ridicule the riders, what a seriously ODD time to choose to do it. I mean, down by 14 pts in the 4th quarter and you finally made ONE fackin' play - one single, solitary meaningful play - and you choose THAT time to break out your "sense of humour"???? Brain dead.

He forced a fumble on it too but it went straight out of bounds so no chance to recover, but yeah hell of an effort.

As much as the pick he threw was a back breaker, honorable mention to Streveler for fighting through two blocks to make the tackle on the INT runback. Ti-Cats ended up scoring a TD on the series anyways, but the hustle was nice to see.

As bad as the bombers were suitor was worse.

Are you confident Nichols could win the LDC, @Montreal and vs Hamilton? Because nothing about his play this season gave me that confidence. Sure puked up some TD passes on BC, Ottawa and Toronto (for a half each time), still couldn’t move the ball consistently against them, Bombers dominated field position/turnovers and our O did nothing against anyone else, even when we won. Took a ton of sacks. Best thing we can say is he didn’t turn it over much, but Streveler isn’t turning it over much either.

OK.... "Matty" VS BC, EDM, OTT, TOR, OTT, HAM (L), TOR (L), CGY (vs Arbuckle in his 3rd start?), BC Streveler... VS EDM, SK, SK, MTL, HAM say what you want, but the Bombers (not Matt, not Strev) the team... had a much softer schedule earlier in the year, and now we're seeing the true colours. Very talented team on paper, but can't thrive under it's current leadership.

He gets slack because he's shown promise and has only started 9 games. I doubt very highly Matt would have shown any better tonight with the same play calls.

Arbuckle, Fajardo, Evans, Adams, all these backups are light years ahead of Streveler when it comes to passing. The Streveler offense of running like a RB and passing for 180 yards a game is not going to cut it. In the CFL you need to be able to throw from the pocket with consistency.

Two biggest concerns for me tonight remain the same from last week - defensive secondary is falling apart and the offensive play calling is garbage.

Streveler's first big mistake of the night. Game over. That'll get all the press and not the multitude of other errors by everyone else.

I am starting to think that we need to play more on the edge of penalties and figure out what we can get away with.... cuz playing clean football puts us at a serious disadvantage.

Lapo needs to trust the passing game a bit, Streveler isn't giving him a reason to be this conservative.
